This card is about experiencing or feeling triumph, success, pride & acclaim. It shows a man riding into town elevated on a horse, with a wreath of laurels around his head, the traditional symbol of victory. However, be careful of not getting ‘too high on your horse’, as that is another meaning of this card. It represents praise, applause, getting the recognition you deserve, and similar things. However, on the low side, it also can contain the archetype of the story, ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’, where not everything is as it seems, and warns of not becoming condescending or holding yourself in higher esteem than others.
