Archetypes have many forms of expression. For example, there are archetypes that are personality types, like Caregiver and Entrepreneur. Archetypes also present as life patterns that everyone inherently recognizes, such as the cycle of death and rebirth or endings and new beginnings. The wisdom in the Old Testament reminded people that all life had its seasons; there was a time for planting and a time for harvesting. Ancient people recognized that nature itself is the greatest teacher of the organizational principles of life. The fundamental design of life is to regenerate, to renew itself again and again.
